Welcome to the National Mental
Health Awareness Campaign's website.
Our organization is a nationwide nonpartisan public education campaign that was launched as part of the 1999 White House Conference on Mental Health. We are dedicated to battling the stigma, shame, and myths surrounding mental disorders that prevent so many people from getting the help they need.
During the past 7 years we have educated millions of people through our speaker's bureau, public service announcements, Town Hall Meetings, media outreach and printed materials. We hope you will enjoy learning more about our organization. Please understand that our goal is to provide education and create a more accepting environment for people to seek help. We do not offer clinical advice or guidance of any kind. If you need help please click on help or go to our mental health links page.
